Step into spring with a refreshed space! Especially while working from home, it is absolutely necessary to have a space that reflects your life: organized. Here are a few quick steps to get you organized and ready to go!

Donate all unnecessary knick-knacks in the room

A cluttered space can clutter your mind. Only allow items in your workspace that truly benefit you. You don't want unnecessary items clogging your desk and distracting you from what really needs to be accomplished.

File All Papers

Don't allow old paperwork to sit on your desk. A cluttered workspace and drawers can lead you to feel overwhelmed. Purchase a few files, label them, and make a vow to yourself that every paper that comes across your desk with either be filed or recycled. To make things even better, there are many options for biodegradable and compostable folders,

so that you are not contributing to plastic pollution.

Rely on your calendar

Relying on one area to write down tasks and reminders will cut down on notes cluttered around your desk. Therefore having a planner can keep you organized and will help you to better complete your tasks. Most importantly, remember to schedule time for yourself and to try new things!

Become a plant mom

Studies have shown that having plants around helps to improve your health in a number of ways. Plants such as the Snake Plant, Golden Pothos, and Weeping Fig are indoor plants known for cleaning the air. When purchasing, remember to be mindful to shop at small businesses.
